Today is Magia's last full day with us. She promised you a shopping trip for school and some rewards for keeping your toys picked up. We are making it a girls' day, and it is my first trip out since Sparkly was born. She gets to stay and bond with Papa.
We started with lunch at Village Grill- love the corn and black bean burger!
You just love to run and play in the courtyard at Lafayette Village.
After lunch, we searched every store at Triangle Town Center for a first-day-of-school dress with no success. You know what you want. We did find shoes, though- gold Belle sequined flats.
Toys 'R Us was next. Not only did you find some toys, but a school dress, too, complete with tutu and butterflies.
Before we ended our day, Magia treated us to my favorite, Thai Cafe, for my birthday dinner a day early.
Enjoying the day with you and Magia has really lifted my spirits. I feel like I'm starting to get my feet back underneath me, and that maybe I can find a balance again. That's the best present you could give me for my birthday. Thank you!
