Eager Explorers

Dear Biscuit & Sparkly Watermelon,
I can't say enough about the green spaces, activities, and classes available here in our hometown.  Every Wednesday this summer we are going to Eager Explorers at Annie Wilkerson Nature Preserve.  Ms. Marty, your teacher, is fantastic.  Yesterday we learned about Terrific Turtles.

We learned what to do if you see a turtle in the street.

You gathered grass, sand and dirt for a turtle terrarium.

You made a floating turtle out of foam and bottle caps; she even had on a tutu!

Of course, since it was SO HOT, we all needed an ICEE afterwards.  Biscuit said, "Let's take a picture like those kids!" (on the ICEE advertisement)

This nature program series has been the best we've attended by far.  I eagerly await some more exploring in our future.
